GS Packaging uses Cordstrap’s high quality desiccants control moisture and prevent mould growth & corrosion inside your cargo container, primary packaging and secondary packaging.
Moisture damage due to condensation is a major problem when you export products in containers. Moisture inside a container is generated as a result of the heating and cooling of the container. Temperatures inside a cargo container play a substantial role in the amount of moisture released in the condensation cycle. During the day, the air in the container heats up. The hot air draws the moisture out of any wood (e.g. pallets) until the air in the container is completely saturated.
When the container cools down at night, the moisture condenses on the roof and walls of the container and sometimes on the cargo itself. The moisture then drips down onto the cargo. This cycle repeats each day the cargo is inside the container. Cordstrap Container Desiccants remove the excess moisture from the air in the container thus preventing damage to your products.
