Hooks Connectors

KARAM provides a range of CE as well as ANSI marked Hooks and Connectors made from Alloy Steel and a Light weight range made from a special grade of Aluminum Alloy.

The KARAM range of Hooks & Connectors come with the following special features:

  • Come with a double locking system which can be opened by minimum 2 deliberate consecutive actions
  • A range of double & triple locking connectors
  • Come with a minimum breaking strength of 23kN
  • Tested for both Gate Function & Gate Resistance
  • Provided with a unique Zinc Electroplating that gives an extended corrosion resistant property to them

As per the ANSI Z359.1 the important features in the Gate Hook strength of KARAM Snap Hooks & Karabiners are as follows:

  • Gate Face, Side of Gate & Minor axis of Snap Hooks & Karabiners (except those with a captive pin) withstands a load of more than 3600 pounds.
  • Tensile load withstands 5000 pounds

  • This harness has been specially designed for workers doing Welding Work at heights.
  • The Webbing of the Harness can withstand flame of upto 700oF / 371oC without any damage or harm.
  • The Harness is provided with adjustable shoulder & thigh straps, and comes with two front attachment textile loops in addition to the Dorsal D-ring for Fall Arrest.
